Eight Wednesday mornings starting March 11 in the Chapel.

There are seven core shadows that quietly loom over the hearts of modern men:

1. Loneliness: The danger of going it alone.
2. Apathy: A lack of passion or care.
3. Distraction: Focus being diverted from God's purpose.
4. Lust: Distorted desires.
5. Shame: Used by the enemy to disrupt, as seen in Genesis 3.
6. Ambition: Misdirected, selfish, or ungodly focus.
7. Futility: A sense of meaningless effort.

These shadows are silent and dark. And they can follow all of us, bringing pressure and confusion which clouds the way we see Jesus, and live into our God-given purpose. Over eight weeks, we’ll dismantle the seven core lies men face, replacing them with the truth of the Gospel. Each week includes practical teaching, clear strategy and encouragement, to help you push back the darkness as we overcome these shadows together. We will focus on the truth that God provides in Psalms 18:28: "You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light".
